MusicTech Rewinder - Issue #61

Happy Friday,

Some say the album is dead. I doubt that. A good and very innovative example of how to use technology and rethink an album is this experiment by the indie band Me Rex. The Megabear project is a procedural album that sounds different every time you play it (Something we have done with my startup Nagual Sounds back in the days, too but in a different way). Megabear consists of 52 tracks of about 30 seconds each, supposed to play on shuffle mode. Every time you load it, you get a new listening experience.
